Gigasheet Google Sheets Add-on Guide

The Gigasheet Add-on for Google Sheets makes it easy to move data between Gigasheet and Google Sheets—no CSV exports or downloads required. With just a few clicks, you can import your Gigasheet data directly into a spreadsheet or upload a Google Sheet into your Gigasheet account for large-scale analysis.

What You Can Do

With the Gigasheet Add-on, you can:

• Import Data from Gigasheet to Google Sheets
  Bring in any sheet you’ve opened in your Gigasheet account directly into a Google Sheet tab.

• Upload Google Sheets to Gigasheet
  Upload a sheet from your Google Drive into Gigasheet—great for working with larger datasets or cleaning data at scale.

How to Get Started

Installing the Gigasheet Add-on is straightforward. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Open any Google Sheet: Navigate to the menu and select Extensions > Add-ons > Get Add-ons.
2. Find Gigasheet: In the Marketplace, search for "Gigasheet" and click 'Install'.
3. Export Your Data: Once installed, go back to your Google Sheet, head to Extensions > Gigasheet > Export to Gigasheet. You’ll need to enter your API key the first time you do this.

1. Need to Import Data Back to Google Sheets?

   After processing your data in Gigasheet, you might want to bring it back into Google Sheets. Thanks to a handy formula in Google Sheets, it couldn't be easier. Here’s how you can do that:

   1. Generate a URL in Gigasheet: Go to File > URL for BI and Spreadsheets in Gigasheet to get a URL that links to your prepped or trimmed data.
   2. Use IMPORTDATA in Google Sheets: In Google Sheets, use the formula =IMPORTDATA("URL") where "URL" is the link obtained from Gigasheet. This will pull your data directly into your spreadsheet.
